Fathers Day
Fathers Day - June 21st 2009 (Canada, United States, United Kingdom), September 6th 2009 (Australia and New Zealand)
Fathers always have a special place in a daughters heart. And in a sons life, Dad‘s are the ones who take them fishing, to the footy, and sit down and show them how to tie a truckies hitch. And fathers are sometimes just the hardest people to buy for. (For gifts, please scroll further down)

Fathers Day Picnic Idea
Most dad‘s love fishing, or camping, or jet skiing, or fishing, or the footy, or fishing....well, you get the idea.
Decide on a location (the footy, the local river or jetty, a lake) and pack a picnic. Some ideas for the picnic basket are..
Cold seasoned chicken drumsticks
Cold sausage rolls
Wraps filled with lettuce, gouda cheese, turkey and caesar dressing
California/Nori rolls
Focaccias filled with lots of goodies, or simple cut into strips and drizzled with a bit of Balsamic Vinegar
Salads - Pasta and Potato....(lettuce goes a bit soggy)
Sumptuous bread rolls
Pita crisps and dips
Pretzels
Big chunks of watermelon
Set it all out on a picnic rug with some nice wine or a cold beer in the esky...and make sure you take the fishing rod!
